Library Media Specialist Email Phone: 628-2380 I graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Communication. I returned to school the following fall to complete my teaching degree. In 2001, I started working at Friess Lake School, primarily as a middle school Language Arts teacher. In 2010 I earned my Master's Degree in History from Cardinal Stritch University, and in 2018 I completed my licensure requirements to become a Library Media Specialist. This school year is my fifth year as the Library Media Specialist at Friess Lake School. I've always had a passion for teaching young people and enjoy watching their growth as learners. As a Library Media Specialist, I love instilling the love of reading and inquiry into all of the students in Kindergarten thru 4th grade. During my time outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, reading, writing, working in the yard, and consuming all things baseball.
