Elementary School Principal Email Phone: 628-2380 ext. 2103 Hello, I'm Jen Shattuck, Principal at Friess Lake Elementary.
The mission of the Holy Hill Area School District, a 4K - 8 district, is to provide a safe, challenging, student-centered learning environment focused on preparing students for their future through supportive parent, staff, and community partnerships. Our vision is to inspire all students to continuously persevere and grow through a variety of academic, social, and community experience.
Friess Lake Elementary School is guided by the following eight core values: inspire, serve, show gratitude, be kind, teamwork, focus, persevere, and excellence. We support all students to achieve at their highest potential and ensure that all students, families, and employees are engaged in an inclusive and safe school community where positive behavior is celebrated and supported.
I graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a degree in education PreK-8. I earned my master's degree through Viterbo University where I obtained reading teacher, reading specialist, and principal licenses.
I started my teaching career as a 2nd grade teacher from 2004-2011 and served in two districts as a reading specialist. I began in the Richfield district in 2014 as a Reading Specialist. In 2019, I transitioned into the role of Elementary Principal. Learning, persevering and growing are what I continue to work towards each day and I value the opportunity to serve this district.
My husband and I have four children, Brayden, Tyler, Wyatt and Joslyn and our Labrador, Rosie. We enjoy spending time with family and love to be involved with our kids activities and sports.
I feel very fortunate be a part of the Friess Lake Team and strive to provide all students and families with support to ensure all students feel safe, valued, and capable of achieving at high levels!
