Elementary Instructional Coach Email Phone: 628-2380 Hello! My name is Jenna Thurin, and I am the Instructional Coach here at Friess Lake Elementary! This is my 17th year in education, my 10th year in the district, and my 6th year as an Instructional Coach! Throughout my career I have taught K5, 1st, and 2nd grades! I became an educator because I love learning, and as a teacher you never stop learning! Supporting students has always been my passion, and now I have the opportunity to support my colleagues as well!
I was born and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin where my family still lives. I did my Undergradute work at UW-Milwaukee in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I completed my Masters Degree at Concordia University in Curriculum and Instruction. I most recently completed the Student-Centered Coaching certificate program through UW-Madison.I have lived in Richfield now for eight years and love all of the community events, and how welcoming everyone is! My husband and I have 4 sons, Kyler (16-Junior at HUHS), Beckett (14- Freshman at HUHS), Jake (6 - 1st grader at FLES), and Benny (3K student at FLES)!
