Early Childhood Teacher Email Phone: 628-2380 Hi! My name is Julie Batzler. I am one of the special education teachers at Friess Lake Elementary. I attended Carroll College and received a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from the University of St. Thomas. I began my teaching career at Plat Elementary as a student teacher and a paraprofessional. Personally, I have two sons. My boys displayed many traits of Autism early on. I decided to learn as much as I could about my own children by going back for my teaching license in special education and attending the Autism Spectrum graduate certificate program through St. Thomas Academy. In my spare time you can find me spending time with my family! I also enjoy working-out and meditating for stress-relief!
