Superintendent Email Phone: 262-628-1032 ext. 1400
I am humbled and honored to serve as the Superintendent for the Holy Hill Area School District (HHASD). With over 22 years of experience in educational leadership, I bring a deep passion for leading, learning, and serving our community.
I earned my Ph.D. in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service from Cardinal Stritch University. I strongly believe in the pursuit of excellence for our students through ongoing continuous improvement and in the power of teamwork. My career in education has been both varied and fulfilling. I most recently served as the K-12 Director of Curriculum and Instruction in the Whitnall School District. Additionally, I have held roles as a principal, teacher, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, and consultant in various educational settings, both locally and internationally. My experience includes working in the private sector as a Corporate Trainer for the Crisis Prevention Institute, where I specialized in training professionals to manage challenging situations effectively. I also had the unique opportunity to teach in Japan, which broadened my perspective on education. These experiences have provided me with a strong understanding of education and a wide range of skills that I’m excited to bring to HHASD.
Service has always been at the heart of my work, and I am eager to contribute to the greater Richfield community. One of my favorite quotes by Kouzes & Posner captures my leadership philosophy: "Leadership is everyone's business. Leadership is not about a position or place. It's an attitude and a sense of responsibility for making a difference." I believe that leadership can be cultivated among our students and staff, and by working together on projects that benefit everyone, we can create a thriving environment where all feel valued, supported, and empowered to lead.
On a personal note, my family is a tremendous source of inspiration for me. My mom, a talented artist, and my dad, a retired train engineer, have instilled in me the values of creativity, resilience, and hard work. I’m also a proud mother of three—Colin, a senior; Tavia, a junior; and Amaya, an eighth grader. My husband, Steven, and I enjoy traveling, golfing, watching Formula 1, and spending time with our two cats, Mikey and Marty.
As we begin this journey together, I am eager to hear from you. I want to know what you envision for our school district and what you see as points of pride and areas for growth. Your input is crucial as we work to ensure that our district responds to the wants and needs of our community. I look forward to connecting with all of you, discussing your ideas, and working together to ensure that our district continues to shine!
Together We Can,
Dr. Katy William
